Duncan Ratayak was an amazing person, he was fun loving and was always smiling whatever happened. He was much loved by all of his family and we all think about him every day.
He died in April 2005 at the age of 36. It was a tragic accident, he was on his motorbike without a helmet and the worst happened. It left the family and friends in deep shock and was extremely hard to overcome.
He was a loved father to Jacob and Molly Ann, a much loved brother to Yvonne, Daniel and Megan and a loved uncle to Joseph, Beth and Anna. His parents were extremely proud of the person he was, he was lucky to have so many people who loved him and were there for him through his life, Roger (dad), Anne(mother) and Andy(step-dad) were his loving parents.
He lived in Blackpool and loved it very much, he would come and visit his family in Yorkshire and was very well known around the area.
Duncan you will be sadly missed and are always in our hearts, you will never be forgotten and we always have love for you.

I would like to say a heart felt thank you to all who have left a message. Even after two years, losing Duncan is still hard to cope with. Your kind thoughts help and I know that Duncan would appreciate your kindness as it mirrors his own.
I was so shocked to hear that Duncan had died. I met Duncan years ago when we were both 14 and I was in Blackpool on holiday. We kept in touch for a couple of years after that then as we grew up lost touch completely. I remember Duncan as a warm, caring, boy who really made me laugh. I am so sorry for your loss.
